2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small sets of data that a website can store or read on a device through the browser. Similar technologies can perform comparable functions. Under Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE, informed consent is required before using non-essential technologies. Technologies exclusively necessary to provide an expressly requested service or enable technical communication may be used without consent. They must not be used for additional analytics or advertising purposes.
3. Technologies currently in use
| Technology | Purpose and provider | Storage |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress sign-in | Technical authentication and security for signed-in administrators and authorised users. This sign-in is not part of an ordinary visit to the hire page. | For the session or selected sign-in period; no advertising use. |
| WordPress emoji display | Session storage may save the result of an emoji support test under wpEmojiSettingsSupports. If the browser lacks support, replacement graphics may be loaded from s.w.org. | Session storage; normally ends when the tab closes. No visitor analytics. |
| Elementor / technical settings | Elementor includes local and session storage functions under the key elementor. Technical states or settings may be stored depending on the function used. | Session storage until the session ends; local storage until deletion or a function-specific expiry. No established use for advertising or visitor tracking. |
| Contact, hire and tour enquiry forms (SureForms) | After submission, enquiries are sent directly to AndalusienCamper through this website. Information is stored as WordPress form entries; an internal email notification may also be sent. Personal data processing is described in the Privacy policy. | Submitted information is stored on the server as an enquiry. This storage is not an analytics or advertising cookie in the browser. |
| SureForms form protection | The reviewed hire form uses a hidden honeypot field to detect automated entries. No external CAPTCHA service was embedded on the hire page. | The honeypot field does not require a third-party cookie. |
| Font files | Elementor loads the Google fonts used from our own server. The switch to local hosting has been completed. | No cookie for displaying fonts and no direct Google Fonts request from the browser for these font files. |
| Mobile service: preparing an enquiry | The service form initially assembles a message only in the browser. Depending on your choice, it then opens WhatsApp or your email application. The enquiry is transmitted through that service only when you send it there yourself. | No WordPress form entry and no additional analytics or advertising cookie from this form function. |
| Google Analytics 4 (statistics) | Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. Internal analysis of visitor numbers, page views, visitor sources and device types, through Site Kit. Statistics cookies are set only after consent. Visitor numbers are not displayed publicly. | _ga and _ga_*: up to 2 years by default; browsers may limit this period. Selecting “Reject” does not authorise statistics cookies. |
| Complianz (cookie choice) | Stores your consent or rejection on our server or in your browser. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings”. | Technically necessary cmplz_* cookies, particularly cmplz_statistics, cmplz_functional, cmplz_policy_id and cmplz_banner-status; usually up to 365 days. |
The technical review of 14 September 2026 related to the website as it stood then. The enquiry forms have since changed. On 1 October 2026, direct submission of the hire enquiry and storage as a WordPress form entry were checked. No external CAPTCHA script was found on the publicly accessed hire page.
The table describes the currently known functions. Entries from WordPress administration and template editing concern signed-in editors and are not equivalent to tracking on the public website. This overview is reviewed when forms or integrated services change.
4. Categories and consent
Technically necessary technologies
These support basic functions such as sign-in, page delivery and protection against abuse. Where they are exclusively technically necessary, consent is not required.
Functional, statistics and marketing technologies
We use Google Analytics 4 for internal visitor statistics. You can accept or reject statistics cookies in the banner and later change your choice under “Cookie settings”. Necessary website functions and enquiry forms remain usable if you reject them. No advertising or remarketing services are configured.
Google Consent Mode communicates your choice to the integrated Google tags; without consent, technical signals may be sent to Google without statistics cookies. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with future effect. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
5. External links and embedded content
An ordinary link, for example to WhatsApp or an external travel website, connects to the relevant provider only after you actively click it. Such links do not set third-party cookies merely when this website loads. If maps, videos, social media content or similar third-party functions are embedded in future, they must not be activated before any required consent has been obtained. This policy and the consent choices will then be updated accordingly.
6. Managing or deleting cookies
You can view, delete or block existing cookies in your browser settings. Completely blocking technically necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or form functions from working properly. Open “Cookie settings” to allow statistics cookies or withdraw consent. You can also use the website without statistics cookies. Cookies already stored can additionally be deleted through your browser.
More information about Google’s processing is available in our Privacy policy and at Google: data processing on partner websites.
7. Personal data and transfers to third countries
Where cookies or similar technologies process personal data, the information in our Privacy policy also applies. Transfers outside the European Economic Area take place only under the requirements of Article 44 et seq. GDPR.
8. Changes and contact
We regularly review this policy and update it when the technologies actually used change. You can send questions about cookies or data protection to info@andalusiencamper.com.
